Lake Tahoe, 1969. Seven strangers, each one with a secret to bury, meet at El Royale, a decadent motel with a dark past. In the course of a fateful night, everyone will have one last shot at redemption.
While the movie starts strong with an intriguing plot and unique narrative structure, it ultimately falls short in the latter half, becoming a more generic crime drama. However, the exceptional performances, particularly by Jeff Bridges and the character Myles, elevate the overall experience, making it a solid watch despite its flaws.
