I enjoyed the movie overall, especially Rocket's storyline and the portrayal of the Guardians, but felt that the humor, treatment of Adam Warlock, and the flatness of the villain were drawbacks. Despite not bringing anything new to the superhero genre, it delivered what was expected and served as a satisfying conclusion to James Gunn's involvement with the franchise.
