While the plot may feel recycled, the movie excels in delivering jaw-dropping action sequences and spectacular cinematography, thanks to Tom Cruise's commitment to performing his own stunts. Despite some formulaic elements and forced emotional moments, it succeeds in being an excellent and entertaining action film, arguably the best in the franchise.
